It was a sad day at Tommy's memorial. His 3 daughters broke down quite often thruout the day and used every Kleenex in the house. Many of his other friends shed a tears, but we also had many laughs recalling his humor, his wit, and his wide mouthed, extended tongue grins. 59 is just too damned young to lose someone. Thanks Judy, for posting this. Love Ya, Girl. Billy

Hey maybe I should find some more of our great Cal members and post there videos. Sorta like a SHOW CASE not live but on line. Me thinks I just might do a songwriters seminar and certainly a songwriters showcase. I love all forms of music but country has always been my fav and most of
the good ones, sing some pretty great gospel songs too!

Pixie
you are quite welcome and I am sure Billy will like your response too, Winning you over hey! GOOOOOODDDDDDD!!!!!! Country Music has always been about the words and when you have a songwriter who can deliver them as Billy does, No wonder he has these number one songs. That Mel Tillis video I posted is his.

O.k. Now I'm a fan. Billy has the sound that is very identifiable as country and even though I'm just starting to like country, I really like his voice.

I'm telling you, these great country singers here on MusiCAL are winning me over to the country side.

And....I will forever remember those words, "Does your mind ever spend a night with me?"

One thing that country most assuredly has is words. Always some great words that hit deep.

Thanks for posting this Judy.
