The band before me was already packed when I got there (30 min before my start time) and, though I went a little longer than originally planned, no other musicians had showed up by the time I left.

I play at a senior dance in Monterey Park every Tuesday; most other gigs are casuals or - nowadays - other senior dances. I just did a company party in Santa Ana at lunch time today.
