I know your birthday is the 28th but I want to make sure I don't forget so I'm wishing you a happy birthday a day early.

Hey, Sat. is a much better day to celebrate than on Sun. so have a great one and save me a big, huge piece of cake. O.k. just send it to me in thought.

Drop by to let us know how you're doing.
Happy Birthday....................Pixie

Rupert, on of my greatest thrills was when I went yo the gulf coast for the company I worked for, Rockwell, during that time I had a chance to go to New Orleans and see some the places the great musicians had played in.
Especially Preservation Hall.
To think of the great music that has come from that area brings a smile to my face now and then.
I grew up partly in Ohio, and my mother was always listening to the grand ole Opry, so you might say I was somewhat exposed to a lot of country music at that time.
I later in life, began singing tunes of Perry Como, Andy Williams,as well as trying my hand at some country music,
My music taste is varied.
I still keep myself together by going to a club in Bellflower, abou 8 miles from me on Wed.& Fri. night to sing, it is an open mike thing.
Hope to hear some of you music sometime in the future.
Take care and God Bless.

Drummer, Author, Social Worker. Graduate of LSU - proud 'Tiger'. Have worked in psychiatry, geriatrics, substance abuse treatment. Currently do consulting in SA at a local prison, working on my next drum book, practicing daily to improve as a musician, and playing gigs as they come along - live music ain't what it used to be. i used to play 6-8 times a week when i was a full time student at LSU - i would say when, but that would 'date' me more than i already am. But i graduated HS in the 'summer of love'; a freshman when the Beatles arrived - which is not so bad. I was a 'wierd' musician as i avoided the drug thing. Great time, great music, crazy war - I had a high draft # in one of the first lotteries, so i was able to continue scool, music, life. Sure wish we had and do treat our veterans better.
