About Me:: I'm a professional singer and have been widowed for 6 yrs. My husband was a well known keyboard player based out of Los Angeles County, CA. for 35 yrs. He was also considered one of the best sequencers in the business.

I began my singing career after I'd been married to my husband for 1yr. I had to replace his singer when she walked off the gig.

I sang with him for 8 yrs until the day after Thanksgiving of 2002. which was 2 days before he died. On Mon. I went out in the backyard and found him. I then retired for 6 yrs because I had lost my reason to sing but I started gigging again in Feb. of 08.

My new partners are Marvin Sims on sax and flute, and Gary Myers on guitar.

I pride myself on my ability to work the room, and to promote, more than on my singing. I would say I'm an entertainer not just a singer.

I'm a strong willed, determined, independent, opinionated and outspoken woman.

I rely on God and self alone and in that order. I'm a woman who won't cave to peer pressure and I stand strong on my beliefs.

I don't want to hear negative attitudes or foul language and the latter will not be tolerated on this network. The former will be challenged.

I'm a Bible believing, God fearing, Christ loving person who believes there is a reason for everything.

I'm a member of the International High IQ Society and I love a good debate.

Today's video- 1st Koko signing gorilla

This will be a series of videos which star Koko.

Koko is a signing gorilla who was born in the San Francisco Zoo July 4, 1971. Penny Patterson acquired Koko from the zoo for research purposes when Koko was just a few years old.

This video is one of the earlier videos when Koko was about 5 years old. At that time she only knew about 100 words is sign language and was able to put words together to form a new word. IE: She would call a ring, a finger bracelet. She also understood around 200 spoke… Continue

I learn as I go..., Billy has a quality of friendship beyond most. He helped me when I was broken hearted over my biological father and my sister back then. He. showed me how to look at life with a heart of compassion when I had no more to give. His recording and editing abilities are off the charts. He's all heart and soul.
