Yes, a Front~Man as well as a Back-Up singer, but rarely considered a musician by the majority... the days of the Front~Man fell away for a long time and now there is some re-emergence, but technology has provided the ability to go out with even a smaller group for live performance... down to one and a computer in so many places... or enhance a poor voice through technology and equipment... But here, at the other end of my life.... opportunities have again come around to perform, not only with my own band(s), but many allowances of friends and others to perform with and for them... To Front a group is difficult, arranging the sets to not exhaust the vocal instrument to soon... the need to be more dilligent in bookings so that you dUn't stress your instrument and limit or reduce your performance capabilities... so many still don't understand or appreciate the delicate instrument known as the voice.

That's where I go to check what's new but the only way I found out is because my email notified me.

I "play" the voice. The voice is an instrument like other instruments. It requires training, practice and some degree of talent to become proficient at it. I don't "play" at it any more than I would "play" at any other instrument in which I took the time to improve my skills. But yea, I also "play" the piano.
