Cheryl enjoys, scratch that, LOVES!! co-writing with other lyricists, musicians and singer/songwriters. Though lyrics are her strong suit, melodies come along for the ride.

From the quilt covered swing on her quiet back porch in rural Robertson County, Cheryl can hear bullfrogs croaking summer love songs, watch horses graze the fertile pasture and witness the night sky fill with countless stars at twilight. Drawing on her life and surroundings she conjures memories and emotions and then puts a bit of her soul into her lyrics, capturing the wonders of love, heartbreak, and the human condition.

mmm.. there are so many - regarding my children - those are too numerous.... regarding my songwriting - winner of the 2009 Tunesmith Pro Songwriting Event in Nashville, TN hosted by Ms Nan Cassidy - that was a trip - write a song in one day with people you've never written with before and then perform it the next day for judging... sweet!
