No Excuse

From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Romans 1:20, NLT

Jesus Knows the falling of a sparrow Judy- Do you not think that you are far more valuable and loved in God's sight that a sparrow-
Jesus and God - In Genesis God said "Let's make man in OUR image
You are made in the image of God - He loves you and watches over you - It is important that you relax in your knowledge that "God Loves You and You Can Trust Him"

Becky and I love you too!!

The bible and prayer for my friends in times of need or just asking GOD
to watch over them is so important to me. yet sometimes I do wonder
if he is watching over me!

Grace is the unmerited favor of God toward man-
Wedidn't deserve it then nor now- It's a gift -
Isn't it funny to achieve the greatest wealth there is for mankind man only has to preform one simple function - "He just has to believe"
For God so loved the world - He gave his only son

I do not understand the mystery of grace--only that it meets us where we are, but does not leave us where it found us.

Hi Judy, I too am late in wishing everyone a Happy Easter. I've been busy planning my BD party so I've only been dropping by. I still need to write to John Heinrich. He asked me if I would like to have the words to his song. I would love to sing it.

I also need to go back and read your message about the tornado so I can respond to that too.

Yes, I do truly believe that every step of our lives is another stepping stone to where God wants us. Some stones are smooth and some are rough but we have to walk over them to get to where we're going. I think each step brings us closer to God and understanding His grace and mercy.

Being that it's the Easter season I figured it would be a good time to mention His plan. As a child I couldn't understand why Jesus had to die to get rid of our sins. Couldn't He just have lived and been a great example of how we should live?

After growing up and reading The Bible for myself, I realized that He was a sacrifice that had to be made. Old testament called for the sacrifice of a perfect lamb to atone for sin but God decided to settle it once and for all. Those lambs of old times weren't quite cutting it so God provided the perfect lamb that would be the final sacrifice.

The Bible tells us that "Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin" So Jesus had to shed His blood and die. That was the breaking of sin's power. We are no longer satan's slave to do his bidding like little puppets. Once we had no power to resist sin but now, if we trust in Jesus, we can resist satan's temptations.

None of us is perfect so we will still sin but we have far more strength to resist it now. Sin was once what would cause us to go to hell but the blood of Jesus now covers those of us who have accepted the gift of Jesus' sacrifice so God doesn't see our imperfections.

Yes, His death is our salvation and His resurrection from the dead ensures that we too will rise from the dead. Not in the same way that He did but we will not be bound to death.

For those reading this that don't quite get the personal side of message it's that although Jesus died for the sins of every single person in this entire world, just think, even if everyone were perfect but you personally were the ONLY person to be completely unable to resist sin, He would have still gone through the torture, pain and death for YOU alone. What a tremendous love that is!!!!!

God is merciful and doesn't give us what we deserve. He is gracious and gives us gifts that we don't deserve. Our God is an awesome God.

Happy belated Easter to all...............Pixie

Thank you Jim. You always have such beautiful words and I hope everyone takes thought in that every day, good or bad, is a day that we need to thank God for because we are exactly where He wants us and He does have a plan.

When I was told I had only a short time to live I decided I would live each day God gave me and thank him for it. I am still terminal but I'm living not dieing - I wrote a poem" This Day' I have sent it to over 2700 people either dieing physically or spiritually. I hope you like this and if you want to use it. You may

This Day
By Jim Evans

Thank you Lord for giving me this day
And thank you Lord for making it this way
My children they’re beside me and we’ve just kneeled down to pray
I want to thank you Lord for giving me this day

Some days the sun is shining some days are filled with rain
Some days we’re so happy, and some days we have pain
Some days are filled with peacefulness, some days we go insane
Some days are filled with thankfulness, and some days we cast blame.

I’ve held my mother crying as we watched my father die
I’ve held my newest grand sons with tear drops in my eyes
Thank you for the wife you gave so faithful and so true
In wonder joy and sadness some how we’ve made it through

Thank you Lord for the valleys that you have walked me through
Thank you for the wisdom and the grace you’ve given too
Thank you for the hard times, the good and the in between
Thank you Lord for loving me and the great friend you have been

I want to thank you Lord for giving me this day
And thank you Lord for making It just your way
My children they’re beside me, and we have just kneeled down to pray

I want to thank you Lord, Oh, so much Lord, for giving me this day
