No Excuse

From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Romans 1:20, NLT

Maybe someone will be touched by this short little story. I feel the need to tell this so maybe God knows that someone needs to hear it.

When I started seeing my husband, I thought to myself that he was gorgeous, sexy, mysterious, intelligent, talented but I didn't trust men and certainly not a man like him who was also a musician. He could get anyone that he wanted.

As time went by, I realized that he was so perfect that I thought "If it seems too good to be true, it is" but I still somehow believed that God had blessed me with him.

Well, because of my distrust and past experiences with men, I was a real biotch to him. Eventually I knew I would lose the best thing that ever happened to me if I didn't learn to let my wall down.

I did a lot of soul searching and praying. I said "God, I know this man won't cheat but he's human. I trust him as a man but not as a human" and then God made an instant change in me when I heard His voice in my soul.

He said "You believe that I put Lloyd in your life so you don't have to trust him...TRUST ME."

It was amazing how I never again distrusted or had the slightest doubt and because of the change God made, my husband and I had the most awesome marriage every single day until it was his time to go.

God really does continue to change us throughout our walk with Him if we just TRUST HIM.

Every day I try to put up a Video of the Day in my blogs but I don't think anyone notices them. This is one that will fit just perfect on this group so I'm putting it here also just in case you all have missed my daily videos.

Thanks for the sweet words of comfort. Mom is still fighting for her life. I know that our Father in Heaven is holding her in his hands. I see it when I watch her lying there. It is as though she is at peace with Him. The struggle goes on...still I trust in my Lord and my God! It is all in His hands.

DebbieZ, God is the only one who has helped me understand enough to move me through my grieving process.

A lot of people used to tell me, just after my husband died, that I should go to bereavement counciling but I told them that God would move me through this. He has a reason for leaving me here and that's all I need to know.

After awhile they'd say "You don't need counciling, you're doing fine on your own" I'd just tell them, "I'm not doing it on my own".

Thanks for having faith and for joining this group.

Faith. Now that is the key to all things here on earth! Believe me, I God has pulled me through some things you would not believe! Without Him, I am nothing. This world means nothing without His perfect love.
To Quote the song,"I Will Not Be Moved". That is my motto! I may never be perfect, but I will never lose my trust in Him!

Knowing God's Constant Presence

As you progress toward your wellness goals, consider what your life will be like when you achieve them. Do you imagine strength or a life that is entirely without illness? Remember that being "well" doesn't mean being perfect. Even after you reach your goals, you will continue to rely on God to guide you through life's natural ups and downs. This isn't a sign of weakness or failure, but an acknowledgment that His presence in our lives is constant, in good times and bad.
Remember to celebrate your accomplishments, but recognize that you are the instrument of a higher power and that your spiritual needs are continuous, even when you're well. Matthew tells us:

God blesses those who realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.–Matthew 5:3 NLT

Take some time each day to consider how God intervenes in your life. Was it an unexpected act of kindness from someone, or a break from hard work? Record this in your journal, along with other signs you find meaningful or inspiring

Thanks Jim, for reminding us all how important we are to God.

Judy, do you think that the most loving being would ever let you run out in front of a speeding car or get to close to the edge of a cliff?

God has His eye on each of us at all times. Just wait until He's ready to pull you back to safety and watch how powerful it will be.

Just remember that to Him goes the glory. It doesn't go to the doctors. Make sure to praise Him for all that He's done, doing and will do.

When you accept the salvation that Jesus' blood provides then you also must accept the healing.

Just as satan has no power to make us sin anymore, he also has no power to make us sick anymore. Tell him to get out of your life and quit lying to you about your health. Don't believe him. God has the final word. Just trust Him
