Pixie, I know what you mean about a conflict of belief - there can be quite a reconciliation when you keep looking. Studying Biblical history helped me a lot. Understanding the culture of the time, and how the many different books of the Bible were found and put together so many years later. Being spiritual people writing material words trying to describe spiritual things in parable form. Sort of like our poets nowadays.

Judy, That's a great story. I'm fascinated by the existence of spirits although my CHRISTian beliefs are conflicting.

I keep asking questions and pondering because I know that there is something going on but I haven't yet been able to reconcile it with my beliefs.

Please keep posting, I love to read them.

Oh I love this section. But don't believe a word I write, ok?

A couple years ago when I had my coffee house, it was late at night, the store was empty and I was sitting at my computer typing up a calendar for the next week's events.
A historic building 2 doors down was being renovated for the first time since it was built - something like 105 years and the guys were pounding away on the walls. I could hear them and when they took a break, they walked down to my place for some brew.
Well, we knew the place was haunted cause it had been closed up for the past 10 years - when we walked by, we could feel the density of the entities peeking out the windows at us, and we'd say "hey there! What you doing hiding, you big babies!".
Well they were long gone by now, so I didn't expect to have a young lady in 1800's era clothing appear right behind me. Now, you don't have to see with your eyes to know someone is there. You know what I mean! This was a very young woman who was upset about her home being torn up, and she was confused not knowing what to do next. I didn't even turn around, but just put my attention on her and showed her my computer, and the fact it was year 2004 and she needed to come up to date. Like a jolt, she realized she was way out of present time and I felt her get somewhat embarrassed by that.
And she disappeared - the whole thing took no longer than one minute.

About a week ago I visited the cheese shop that is in the newly rebuilt building. I told the lady the place had been haunted and she said it sure was! Everyone knew it had been, but since it was renovated it was very clean and nothing was there. I told her about my visitor at the store 5 years ago, and she liked my story.

There ya go. That one is pretty subdued compared to some others.

Judy, You're funny.

Why is an orange?

I had hoped for my friend from high school to start this group but I hadn't heard from him for well over a year.

I just heard from him that he had a stroke and everything is fine now. He only has some tingling in his fingers so it's hard to type but I'll nag him enough to get him in here.

He has had many "Stranger than Fiction" experiences so we'll see what happens when he get's in here.

I'm looking forward to hearing your experiences and thoughts.

Thanks for joining us..................Pixie

Fun group! Oh, I have had lots of these types of experiences and seen many too. What is unexplainable to me is - why can't I remember them? Maybe they were filed in the unexplained section of my mind? To be determined later. Why IS an orange, anyway?
