My mom knew a lot of known people and he was an acquaintance. She told me that whenever Louis' wife would come in to the club (I imagine that's a 40's era club) that Louis would always have his wife sit at the table with my mom.

I suppose it was close to the stage and my mom was a lady so it was a safe table. WOW!!!! A lady? What happened to her daughter?; ▶ Reply to This

You also now by the story got me wondering something too. Was the club in California or Chicago. My mom
and Dad told a similar story when Louis was performing with Thelma. He used to call her big Thelma. Always sent
my mom and dad special passes and according to my older brother Louis and his wife where in our home once in
Chicago and once in San Francisco before he died. Would have loved to have been there. His music even today
still grabs ya.

Might be nice to have something here about musical links from our parents to this generation OOPS I mean us.
THis is a sister hood too. Cat is doing some great stuff too.

The other new site is real good too. LA MUSIC PROS. My hats off for bringing two music communities closer together.

Wow, wouldn't that be a kick if your parents and mine sat at the same table together? Even better, what if they were friends?

I just love how small this world is and all the possibilities of the 6 degrees of separation.

What is the LA Music Pros? Is that www.lamusicpros? I'll have to check it out. You can put a link or a badge on here if you'd like.

Cat, yes, we did take it down because it does in fact conflict with any other songs that show up in the "Recent Activity" on the homepage.; ▶ Reply to This
